Tracking My 100k Stablecoin Challenge: Monthly Updates and Results

Results for the 100k stablecoin challenge are last updated on February 01st, 2025.

Welcome to the update page of my blog. I share the progress of my 100k stablecoin challenge here. My goal is to demonstrate how much can be earned over time with $100,000 invested in stablecoins by generating income through lending, staking, and providing liquidity. To achieve this, I’ll utilize multiple chains, protocols, centralized exchanges (CEX), and explore opportunities within the DeFi ecosystem. I’ll also keep you updated on my current non-stablecoin portfolio as I continue to position myself for long-term growth and stability.

Compared to the first two months, I made four adjustments to my 14 stablecoin positions this time. I closed both positions on Quickswap (Polygon) and moved the funds over to LFJ (Avalanche). One of my three Solana positions was transferred to Uniswap (Optimism), while the CETUS position remained—just switched to a different pool. I’m also keeping an eye on my two positions on Venus Finance. It’s still my favorite DeFi protocol, but APYs have dropped quite a bit, so I might need to rethink my strategy there.

Why Track Stablecoin Investments?

By converting volatile cryptocurrencies into stablecoins like USDT, USDC, and DAI, I’m obviously able to protect my capital from market corrections and earn steady returns. Stablecoins maintain a stable value, typically pegged to a fiat currency, making them a reliable choice for locking in profits during market highs. Through lending and staking on platforms like Aave, Compound, PancakeSwap, and Venus, I aim to enhance my returns and build a passive income stream.

Maximizing Returns Through Diversification

Diversifying my stablecoin investments across multiple platforms helps mitigate risks and optimize returns significantly. Instead of concentrating my assets in one or two projects, I spread them across several reputable DeFi platforms. By doing that I make sure I’m not overly exposed to the failure or security breach of any single project. This strategy is crucial for achieving financial stability while maximizing potential yields within the 100k stablecoin challenge.

Monthly Updates: Performance and Insights

Each month, I’ll update this blog with the latest results of my 100k stablecoin challenge. Furthermore I’ll share detailed performance reports, highlighting the best lending and staking opportunities I’ve discovered. This transparency undeniably aims to help you (and me) make informed decisions about your own investments. By tracking my progress, you’ll gain valuable insights into which platforms offer the most competitive APYs and how diversified investments can lead to more secure and profitable outcomes.

Conclusion

My journey towards a profitable crypto income involves transitioning to stablecoins and leveraging their potential through lending and staking. By regularly updating this blog, I hope to provide you with the knowledge and confidence to optimize your own stablecoin investments. Stay tuned for monthly updates and detailed performance tracking as we navigate the path to financial stability and maximize returns together.
